Who needs veggies when you have a yummy donut, right g-grandpa jim?

Kroger had a Halloween event on Friday night and it was F-U-N! There was a scavenger hunt down all the aisles, all sorts of games, a costume contest and goodies everywhere.

Trick or Treat

We took Austin trick or treating down our street tonight while Grandpa G passed out candy. He really did have fun and got the hang of it by the time we made it to the end of the street.

Fall Photo Shoot

If any of you remember last year we tried really hard to get the perfect fall photo and Grandma and Grandpa G's house. The problem was Austin was only 2 months old and obviously couldnt sit up on his own. If you have forgotten just click HERE

Warren Trunk or Treat

On Friday we took part in Warren's trunk or treat with my parents and had a blast. There were about 1000 kids go trunk treating and we took Austin around to take part in the fun.

Also, check out his new "slipper" socks. Now that its getting cold we need to cover his feet, but he slips all over the wood floors so I found these socks with grips on the bottom, cute or what?

A date

Austin and I went on a date the other night, just the two of us. He was quite the gentleman and actually made me a little sad how "grown up" he is becoming.

TV Kart

Grandpa G splurged and let Austin drive the TV Kart at Meijer this weekend. Austin loved it and watched Bob the Builder and Barney while we walked all around.

Photo Shoot- Attempt 1

If anyone remembers from last year, we did our darnedest to take a good photo shoot with Austin in the "fall set up." This was difficult because Austin was only 2 months up and obviously not sitting up so Grandma Jo was in the background hiding holding him up. This year has challenges of its own as Austin is a free man and much too busy to just sit and take a picture. Below is how successful the shoot went.

We couldn't find Austin and Grandpa anywhere and when we put our thinking caps on we knew right where to find them.... The snack area at Target!

Little Marauder Man

Apples

After a meltdown at the grocery store (which began before I even put him in the cart) the only thing I could think to occupy Austin was this apple and boy did it do the trick. He chomped on it the whole trip ( I didnt even want to leave he was being so good), the way home and for another half hour or so until bed! The only slight problem was when he saw Porcello throw his "apple" Austin got confused and tried to chuck his "ball" at the TV

Thank you so much for my awesome birthday gift! My new outfit is SO cozy and warm now that its fall. Mom said I have to cuff my pants so I dont trip, but I love it!
