We went to New York when Austin was 6 weeks old and couldn't really stick up for himself. Landon enjoyed "picking" on him, even though we was just playing. Austin was determined to stick up for himself this time around!
This blog all started as I was searching for a true and deeply passionate relationship with the Lord, but since becoming pregnant, it has turned into a journal through the journey of motherhood. I am still searching for the balance of both and welcome God to lead the way and end the searching. It's all about Austin and McKenna here, but check out http://www.jenniferlynnholt.blogspot.com for more on the "anxiously searching" journey.

More
wiped out
We were in Oxford this weekend at Grammy and Grandpa Bob's and we got to spend the weekend with Austin's Uncle Toph, Aunt Haly, and his cousins, Braeden and Landon. We headed up on Friday and got to hang out with Grammy and Grandpa waiting for the rest of the gang to get into town from New York. Needless to say he was wiped out by the end of the day.

new shoes
I was really excited to buy new running shoes today... Austin was more excited that I brought home a new box to destroy!
unswaddled champ
We were so worried to stop swaddling Austin, but last night was the big night. He did great! He only had one out burst a little before midnight, but slept the rest of the night until 6am and ate and slept until 8.20am! cant ask for much more than that... We were very proud of him.
This pic is about 2 minutes after I put him down tonight.

Monkey review- 7 months
Austin turned 7 months yesterday... a few updates
- started trying to pull himself on things
- stopped swaddling on St. Patty's day
- tried carrots, bread, tofu, egg yolks, peaches, and plums
- Mastered picking up cheerios and puffs and has nearly mastered actually getting them into his mouth
- Started taking a bath in his rubber ducky
- Usually taking about 2 naps a day, one mid morning and the other in the afternoon.
lunch at the park
We had a wonderful lunch in the park today in the sunshine. Andrew and I stopped at the bakery and got Reuben sandwiches in honor of St. Patrick's day and brought them to the park to eat. Little guy had lunch with us too!
